All New “Plastics Packaging: a ‘must have’ or a ‘nice to have’?” Campaign

In order to counter the many anti-plastics packaging messages that have filled the social media space in recent months, Plastics|SA recently released a series of pro-plastics messages on the various social media platforms.

Thanks to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest and Linkedin, our social media advertising campaign​, which was aired during the months of November, December 2018 and January 2019, reached a whopping 5 858 724 consumers over the 3 months. That's almost 6 000 000 people who are now more aware of the value of this material and the misconceptions that surround it. ​ ​

It's difficult to imagine life without ​plastic, but ​it's up to us to be responsible when disposing of it.  Remember to reduce, reuse and recycle wherever possible. 

After all, Plastics don't litter... People DO!
